A hand is played at Notrump if the high bid is in Notrump. It simply means that there is no trump suit – only cards in the suit of the lead may win a trick.So if a heart is led, only hearts may win that trick. All other rules (must follow suit if possible, etc.) apply.
The first trick of a Notrump bid is worth 40 points, and every other trick of the Notrump bid is worth 30. So a made bid of 3NT can reach game with 100 points.
