Playing Euchre if everyone passes on a spade right round, can you call spades on the second round?

So if you online drugs without prescription are playing Euchre and everyone passes around on say, the king of spades, can you now on the second turn (when you have the choice to call the trump suit) call spades to be the trump suit?

I think so, but aunt does not.
