have a 52 card deck, what are some card games that can be played with only 2 players?

been playing rummy and crazy 8s.

I’m looking for card games that don’t necessarily have to be played on a surface like solitaire. Preferably, something unusual, maybe something i could play with a 52 card deck, and something to keep me occupied.
Any help on this would be great.

Saw this in a friends house about 15 years ago. I wonder if it is still in production? I remember the card deck had special markings so you could deal out a training hand, play it and then the book would tell you what you should have bid and what the best contract was, and how to play it.
