I am interested in making a card game for the sake of passing the time and I notice that in several games such as the World of Warcraft TCG and Magic: the Gathering, only four copies of a card are allowed. I know the idea of restricting overflow of one type of card plays a part in this, but why is the number four? I think it’s 3 in the Yu-Gi-Oh! game but I’m not sure.
Just wondering if anyone could offer insight into this. Thanks!

When I am playing a card game like spades, I will go to click on the card that I want to play and all of a sudden I am kicked out of the game and I can’t get back into the game. I thought that it was my computer but I have talked to other people and it is happening to them. Could someone please help me.

Both are 100% chance for example nobody can predict what hand they’re going to get in a card game, as the cards are shuffled (unless it’s rigged). So why the double standard between the games? Is a slot machine more "chance" than the Lotto which is legal?
