That’s hundreds of billions and the contracts should have been signed and the work begun. It’s suppose to create half million jobs and we need it now.
classic!!!!
Rep Defazion, (D Oregon) stated they took billion out of the billion which would hve created 2 million jobs.

So, about 3 months ago I had a job offer for an entry-level environmental scientist job which I decided to turned down. I turned it down because I was extremely burned out from college, and need to rest up for a while. I also wanted to see what else was out there, since my original plan to go to graduate school was dashed at the last moment and I suddenly found myself floundering through the job market.
Well, I’ve had my rest and looked at what else is available, and I see now it was a pretty good offer. The position, or one similar to it, is likely to still be availible since, as I was told, the company is overwhelmed with contracts and desparately needs more people.
Is there any acceptable practice for contacting them and seeing if there is still a position availible, or have I, as my dad likes to say, gone and burned my bridge and now have to deal with it and find emplyment elsewhere? What do you think?

They have the specs and areas and even the states now who normally bids and it is not rocket science n how much rebar and concrete you need in a mile of 4 lane road or to maintain a bridge or replace. Is the hold up that they haven’t even put the contracts out for bid yet and if it is someone better get on the ball or is the hold up on creating companies or whose friend to get the bid to?
only about 10% of the money is on the streets and created tempory jobs in many cases for a total of 150,000.
This is important as it is not that easy to set concrete in freezing temps. Any one in procument will tell you if you have a
"rush" job you can get the bids and be good ones quickly.
i would think this is more importnt to get done that adding to the debt of the nation with cap and trde and this other stuff. We have to have something help the economy and now.
