What are some good card or board games?

my family is very energetic, creative, and fairly smart. we love games like scrabble, cranium, monopoly…basically any game that makes you think. What are some card games or board games that we can buy?
Not knowing the age ranges within your family or the number of people, here would be some of my recommendations:

One of my favortie games is called Emipre Builder, it’s not a game you find at Wal Mart Its made by Mayfair
I love this game called Carcassone, its a bit hard to find, but try ebay or amazon. Its farely easy and the strategy makes it highly replayable. Tons of fun for the family. Not to mention that theres tons of expansion, but try the basic one its a good start.*smiles*
pictionairy is a very fun drawing game……
also guess who? is a great mystery game.
